Bodrum is easy to visit from the Bozburun Peninsula. You can catch the ferry from Datca. It arrives right in the centre of the main harbour so you do not need to take your car. You can easily walk everywhere in Bodrum. In Summer it can get very congested so it is better to leave your car in Datca. Bodrum castle has a fantastic museum so you can easily spend a few hours wandering around it.
